The production holding "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant" is an industrial enterprise with unique capabilities that allow developing and manufacturing various technically complex products within the framework of the import substitution program.
One of such technically complex products is a planetary gear for a snowplow. This snow blower was manufactured and supplied by a German company that was very popular for airport use.
Currently, this German company has stopped maintenance of its machines at Russian airports and a serious problem has arisen with the frequent replacement of the planetary gearbox, which is the most vulnerable link in the operation of the German snowplow.
