Electric animal stunning tongs - this KOMA PTS 1 humane livestock stunning device is designed for effective stunning (bringing unconscious and immobilized) animals before slaughter. This device - electric tongs for stunning animals - automatically measures the internal resistance of the animal and selects the optimal voltage of electric current, frequency of current and time of exposure to this particular animal, which prevents the occurrence of bone fractures, rupture of muscle tissue and bruises. In this case, overstunning does not occur, allowing the heart muscle to contract with a large amplitude, which has a positive effect on complete bleeding. All this has a great impact on the quality of meat. The PTS-1 device consists of two main and special sets: – mains power supply with an electrostatic (separation) transformer with an electronic system for measuring and controlling slaughter parameters PIG 7; – muffling forceps. The power supply kit is installed in a tight box. The box is adapted to be fixed at the place of use. On the side of the power supply housing, there is a special electrical socket for connecting jamming tongs. The following are located on the external doors of the power supply: – main switch (which will also serve as a switch for the output voltage value); – control signal light ZASILANIE (POWER) – green; – control signal light GŁUSZENIE (SILKING) – red; – control signal light KONIEC GŁUSZENIA (END OF MUTENING) – yellow. – digital display of jamming voltage, jamming current and electric charge; – console of the command controller for slaughter parameters PIG7; – fuse socket.
